The CPCA is a National non-profit Counsellors Association registered in accordance with the Canada Corporations Act and governed by the CPCA National Board of Directors. Registered professional counsellors with CPCA are required to provide details of their completed Continuing Education (minimum 12 hours) and Clinical Supervision (minimum 6 hours) annually. They are also required to confirm their ongoing commitment to adhere to the high standards of the CPCA Code of Ethics, Standards of Practice and submit proof of liability insurance.
